Delhi police officers were awarded with the 'Asadharan Karya Puraskar' on April 6 for exemplary courage to fight off five criminals who had stabbed one of them. The two were also given promotions out of turn. Despite being injured, the two cops managed to stop the assault on the youth. It took about a month for the injured policeman to recover.
